I’m a person addicted in nature! I love exploring national parks and taking photos when traveling to new places. I have explored 19 national parks in the last 8 years. In my spare time, I’m passionate about collecting and building Lego sets, trying out new recipes, and sharing food with friends.
2016-2020 Landscape Designer
I have been a designer since 2016. I started my design career as a landscape designer, my daily work involved meeting clients, creating illustrations, building 3D models, and producing design documentation. However, after really working in a cross-functional team, I realized that my true passion is how to use design to solve complex user problems.
2020-2022 CMU-MDes, during school…
Therefore, I came to CMU to study interaction design. During my master years, I did lots of interesting projects from physical to digital interaction.
2021 - Product Design Intern @ Baidu
In 2021, I finally found a chance to join Baidu to work on industry projects. Baidu is the No.1 search engine in China. As a product design intern, I collaborated with product managers, researchers, and engineers to ship and launch new features on 2 mobile apps.
2022 - Website / Visual Designer
In 2022, I took on a project for a local small business, design and launch the first website with an online booking feature. The website increased monthly business revenue by 12%. I also helped create their marketing materials in physical and digital format.
2022-present UX Designer
In the same year, I joined HP as a UX designer. I’m collaborating with cross-functional teams, working on end to end design process for printer setup and onboarding experiences across multiple platforms (mobile/desktop/web).
